Rosehip

Next up, Rosehip pullover.

What: Rosehip / Own pattern
How: Circular needle 3.75 mm
From: Spincycle Yarns Wilder + Dyed in the Wool, 277 + 75 g

Rosehip is a simple sweater with adorable rosehip colorwork on the yoke. The sweater is worked top-down, seamlessly, of course.

The yoke features roses, little rosebuds and rosehips. Them hem has a row of the sweet little rosebuds as well.

Rosehip has 3/4 length sleeves and the cuffs, hem and neckline have corrugated ribbing on them. Corrugated ribbing isn't very stretchy but it looks oh so good.

This design has also a bit of waist shaping.

What makes the colorwork especially stunning is the amazing, color-changing Dyed in the Wool by Spincycle Yarns. I'm not sure if this one is called a gradient dye or not as it's a very special yarn: it's got two plies, each dyed individually with the colors changing at a different pace, creating gorgeous color combinations.

The sweater was styled with jeans for the book and with jeans, these neon colors give me awesome 90-s vibes. A bit of a nostalgy trip for a lady born in -85.

You can find all the info on the design below. Some of the photos were taken by Laine for the booka and some we snapped ourselves a year ago.
